GW Humanitarian Research Workshop Series

The Humanitarian Research Workshop Series, organized by the Humanitarian Action Initiative at George Washington University, is a forum for presenting new and developing research on a wide range of topics related to humanitarian assistance. Scholars from a variety of disciplines present research on humanitarian assistance and related topics and receive feedback from a discussant and workshop attendees. The workshop is also intended to build a sense of community and share knowledge across the interdisciplinary fields of humanitarian assistance.

We welcome working papers on a wide range of topics related to humanitarian assistance and will host workshops throughout the academic year. All workshops are held in-person at the Elliott School of International Affairs, 1957 E St. NW, Washington D.C. 20052.
